Road Safety Campaign Launched at The Lexicon International School Kalyani Nagar, Prominent Leaders Join In

The Lexicon International School, Kalyani Nagar, successfully launched the ‘#NOCompromiseOnRoadSafety’ campaign to address the growing importance of road safety. In collaboration with Pune Times Mirror and Vilas Javdekar Developers, this initiative aims to raise awareness and encourage responsible road behavior. By emphasizing the significance of road safety, the campaign strives to create safer streets for all.

 The event witnessed the participation of esteemed dignitaries including Mr. Pankaj Sharma, President, The Lexicon Group of Institutes, Chairman & MD, Pune Times Mirror, Civic Mirror, and MultiFit; Mr. Neeraj Sharma, Vice Chairman, The Lexicon Group, Director, Pune Mirror & Civic Mirror and MultiFit; Mr. Amitesh Kumar, Commissioner, Pune Police; Mr. Rohidas Pawar, Deputy Commissioner, Pune Traffic Police; Mr. Rakesh Malhotra, CEO, Pune Times Mirror; Mr. Sanket Bhor, General Manager Marketing, Vilas Javdekar Developers; Ms. Shital Biyani from Sri Shakti; Ms. Seema Tanwar, President, Women’s Club Kharadi, and Ms. Anjali Turare from Viman Nagar Women’s Club.

Road Safety

 The campaign will extend its reach across eastern Pune with the support of Viman Nagar Women’s Club, Women’s Club Kharadi, and Sri Shakti, conducting awareness workshops in various schools and societies.

 Speaking at the event, Mr. Amitesh Kumar, Commissioner, Pune Police, stressed the significance of collaboration with the media in promoting awareness campaigns, and Mr. Rohidas Pawar, Deputy Commissioner, Pune Traffic Police, expressed optimism about the initiative’s impact on curbing traffic violations and ensuring smoother traffic flow in Pune.

 The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session where Lexicon Schools students discussed critical aspects of road safety and enforcement strategies with Commissioner Mr. Amitesh Kumar. The commitment from both the police department and the community reaffirmed the collective resolve to prioritize road safety in Pune.
