Apex group of Hospitals pledges to make Kidney Healthcare accessible to Mumbaikars

Mumbai- Dialysis treatment is quite an expensive process in the country, which the poor and needy fail to receive. The absence of such service has often been fatal in many instances. As per available data, 2,00,000 new cases are added to the existing population of chronic kidney disease each year in India. On the occasion of World Kidney Day which is recently celebrated all over the country, Apex Group of Hospitals is proud to announce a collaborative effort with “The Renal Project” (of Shark Tank fame). Under this project, Apex Group of Hospitals will provide free dialysis for yellow & orange ration card holders under Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana. On this occasion, Apex group of hospital officials says, “We strive to enhance accessibility to vital dialysis services for kidney patients. This partnership underscores our commitment to fostering a supportive environment for renal health, ensuring that individuals facing kidney challenges can access the care they need with ease. Our joint initiative aims to make a positive impact on the lives of those navigating kidney-related concerns. We dedicate Free Dialysis Centre to Mumbaikers, especially the people from western suburbs who fit in categories of Yellow and orange ration card. Dialysis is a recurring expense with each session in private dialysis centers and Hospitals. Patients need 3 sessions in a week which is beyond the budget of an average family. “
