Our government is taking a step forward to promote sports. We are trying to direct the youth of Telangana towards sports. We are going to start Young India Sports University in Telangana with the aim of the Olympics in the next academic year. We will bring international-level coaches and provide sports training. We have told the Union Minister that we will prepare our stadiums with international standards so that the Olympics can be held in Hyderabad.
Our performance in the last Olympics is not so impressive. We hope to produce maximum participants from Telangana in the next Olympics to be held in 2028, he said.
