Bengaluru, 16 August 2024: RV University marked India’s 78th Independence Day with a unique blend of patriotism and environmental consciousness. In collaboration with the Bangalore Rotary E-club, the university conducted a plantation drive in its campus, emphasizing its commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
The event, held from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at RV University’s Administrative Block, was graced by Rotarian Satish Madhavan, District Governor of RI District 3191, as the chief guest. The celebration commenced with a flag hoisting ceremony and the singing of the National Anthem, instilling a sense of national pride among all attendees.
The highlight of the event was an extensive plantation drive, where participants planted over 50 saplings across the university campus. This initiative underscored RVU’s dedication to environmental conservation and sustainable development.
Expressing his thoughts on the occasion, Dr. Y.S.R.
