Chennai, Aug 20: Giri Trading Agency has been honoured with the India Retail Excellence Award 2026 in the Speciality Retail category, recognising its leadership in spiritual and devotional retail. The awards, organised by the Retailers Association of India, were presented on 19 August 2026 at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai, as part of the Chennai Retail Summit 2026.
The India Retail Excellence Awards spotlight the best of Indian retail across 11 categories and every major retail format, making this a significant national recognition. Giri’s win in the Speciality Retail category reflects its 75-year journey from a 1951 bookstall to a multi-store, omni-channel spiritual retail brand with a strong presence across India and global outlets.
