Kochi, December 2nd, 2024: The grand Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at Crowne Plaza Kochi lit up more than just the tree—it illuminated the hearts of everyone present. The evening became a symbol of joy and giving as children from Ashwasa Bhavan Orphanage in Mattancherry were at the center of the celebrations. Keeping a promise made during the earlier cake-mixing ceremony, Crowne Plaza Kochi handed over the first batch of freshly baked plum cakes and surprise toys to the children during the tree lighting event.

The chief guests of the events were Social Entrepreneur Lakshmi Menon and Actress and Model Rithu Manthra, who together lit the Christmas tree.

Adding to the festive spirit, a special cake sale was organized, donating 10% of the proceeds to Ashwasa Bhavan Orphanage.

The celebrations began with a soulful choir performance by children from Gems Modern Academy, creating a magical atmosphere. This was followed by a series of delightful activities, including a gingerbread house, dazzling wreaths, and a variety of Christmas-themed decorations. Santa Claus himself made a special visit, spreading holiday cheer to children and adults alike.

The children from Ashwasa Bhavan were immersed in the festive mood, enjoying the warmth and joy that only the holiday season can bring. A delightful high tea concluded the event, bringing together celebrities, influencers, and corporate leaders, all united for this meaningful cause.
