Birla Carbon to participate at The Battery Show Europe 2024

Hannover, Germany – June 19, 2024 – Birla Carbon, one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of high-quality carbon-based solutions, will participate in The Battery Show Europe 2024, which will be held from June 18 – 20, 2024, at Messe Stuttgart, Germany. Birla Carbon will exhibit in Hall 6 Booth: E79.

Speaking about the participation, Dr. Ann Schoeb, Chief R&D Officer and Business Head, Energy Systems, Birla Carbon, said, “We are thrilled to participate in The Battery Show Europe 2024 and to present Birla Carbon’s innovative solutions in carbon-based applications for the battery industry. This event provides an invaluable opportunity to engage with industry leaders, explore collaborative ventures, and showcase our commitment to driving progress in the energy sector.” She further added, “Through our dedicated Energy Systems business, we are at the forefront of developing next-generation conductive additives and anode materials that will shape the future of lithium-ion batteries. We look forward to connecting with our customers and discussing the vast potential of our carbon solutions in advancing technological frontiers.”

Birla Carbon will showcase its commercially available conductive additives Conductex™ i series (carbon black) and Carbon Nanotubes (CNT), at the expo. We will also present our latest progress on our investment in synthetic graphite manufacturing capability in North America.

· The innovative ConductexTM i performance additive for lithium-ion batteries heralds the next era in conductive technology, empowering 8% increase in solids loading within electrode slurries (lower solvent requirement).

· The MWCNT Hybrid conductive additives enable ease of mixing and good electrode properties at lower loading compared to competitive carbon blacks.

· Graphite Anode Active Materials are top-tier graphites renowned for their outstanding cycling efficiency and cycle longevity in batteries with high energy and power densities.
