Apollo Symposium Explores Future of Knee Surgery Innovations

Hyderabad, 10th November, 2025: Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, launched a two-day Advanced Orthopaedics Symposium 2025 on Saturday at Hitex HICC Novotel, spotlighting emerging innovations and future trends in knee surgery. The gathering drew more than 250 eminent national and international orthopaedic experts, faculty members, and postgraduate students, creating a knowledge-sharing platform on next-generation surgical techniques and joint preservation strategies.

Apollo Hospitals Joint Managing Director Smt. Sangita Reddy, who presided over the event, reiterated Apollo’s commitment to clinical excellence and technology-led transformation in musculoskeletal care. “The future of orthopaedics lies in precision, technology integration and patient-centric treatment,” she noted, pointing to advancements in robotic-assisted surgery, AI-driven diagnostics and personalised knee care.

The scientific committee featured top orthopaedic specialists including Dr. Jairam Chander Pingle, Dr. K. J. Reddy, Dr. Somasekhar Reddy, Dr. M. Hari Sharma, Dr. R. Balavardhan Reddy, Dr. Ratnakar Rao, Dr. Kaushik Reddy and Dr. Sridhar C. Reddy, who curated sessions focusing on innovation, evidence-based practice and future surgical protocols.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Tejesvi Rao Veerapalli, CEO, Apollo Hospitals Telangana Region, said,
