Mumbai, Oct 15: BULLET Microdrama, backed by ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., has partnered with Vitrina, a global film, television and video supply-chain intelligence company, as it looks to take its experience in building short-form vertical content in India into international microdrama markets.

As BULLET completes its first year in India, its focus is now shifting towards markets where its content, technology and production capabilities can be adapted to local audiences and business models. This includes building relationships with creators, producers, distributors and platforms, while exploring new opportunities for its AI-led capabilities across the wider entertainment ecosystem.

Vitrina’s network across 100+ countries and VIQI, its vertical AI platform, will give BULLET access to intelligence on companies, creators, projects and market activity across territories and genres. This will support the identification of potential content, distribution and co-production opportunities, while also helping Trinetra AI identify potential global clients and use cases for its technology across international markets.

Azim Lalani, Co-Founder & Chief Business Officer, BULLET Microdrama & Trinetra AI, said,

“Over the past year, we have built more than a content roster. We have developed a strong understanding of how short-form vertical stories need to be created, produced and localised for different audiences. As microdrama expands across markets, the next step is to identify where these capabilities and our content can create value internationally. Vitrina provides the intelligence and access to approach this expansion with greater precision, while also enabling us to learn from local creators and ecosystems. The partnership will help us identify global clients and use cases for Trinetra AI, extending its capabilities and applications beyond India. Our ambition is to take what we have learned in India and build a global microdrama business through the right stories, partnerships and distribution models.”

Saurabh Kushwah, Co-Founder & CPTO, BULLET Microdrama & Trinetra AI, said,

“The next billion viewers won’t necessarily watch stories originally made in their language. They’ll watch stories that feel like their own. As entertainment becomes increasingly borderless, cultural relevance will define which stories travel and which ones truly resonate. The challenge is no longer just distributing content globally, but making it feel native to every market. At Trinetra AI, we’re building the intelligence and technology infrastructure to make that possible. By bringing together audience intelligence, AI-powered dubbing, precise lip-sync, visual localization and cultural adaptation, we’re enabling studios and content owners to unlock the global potential of their libraries at a speed and scale that traditional production workflows could never achieve. Our association with Vitrina is an important step in that direction. By combining our technology capabilities with Vitrina’s global industry intelligence and ecosystem connectivity, we see an opportunity to accelerate meaningful partnerships across studios, producers, distributors and platforms worldwide. The future of entertainment isn’t about making a thousand different stories for a thousand different markets. It’s about giving one great story the power to belong everywhere.”

Atul Phadnis, Founder and CEO, Vitrina, said,

“Microdrama is scaling faster than any format we’ve tracked, and the platforms that win it will be the ones who move first on the right partners.”
