Sep 10: JRL Professional, a globally recognised professional grooming brand, expanded its consumer touchpoints beyond the traditional salon environment through its association with Western H.O.G. Ride 2026 as Official Grooming Partner, bringing its expertise in precision grooming to the Harley Owners Group community. The partnership saw the brand bring its professional grooming expertise into a lifestyle-led environment, connecting with a community built around motorcycles, individuality, personal style and self-expression. Hosted by the Seven-Islands Mumbai H.O.G. at The Deltin, Daman, the 13th edition of the Western H.O.G. Ride brought together 360 H.O.G. members and guests from across the country combining riding, entertainment, music, food and community-led experiences.
For JRL Professional, the association presented an opportunity to take grooming from a salon-centric conversation into an everyday lifestyle context. The brand created a dedicated Men’s Grooming Experience Zone within the auditorium, designed as an interactive brand touchpoint where attendees could experience professional grooming services while engaging with JRL’s grooming technology. The JRL Professional Experience Zone offered riders haircuts, shaves and other grooming experiences, carried out using JRL Professional’s range of professional grooming tools. Positioned as a space to freshen up, relax and experience grooming firsthand, the activation allowed the brand to demonstrate the functional relevance of its products in a setting that was both experiential and highly aligned with its target consumer.
Rather than relying solely on product visibility, the activation enabled JRL Professional to put the grooming experience at the centre of the brand interaction. For a community where appearance, individuality and personal expression are connected to lifestyle, the grooming zone created a natural bridge between the rider persona and the modern man’s grooming routine.
Speaking about the association, Rayed Merchant, Director at SSIZ International, said,
“The Western H.O.G. Ride gave us an opportunity to take JRL Professional into an environment where grooming, individuality and personal expression naturally came together. As a professional grooming brand, we wanted to move beyond simply showcasing our tools and instead create an experience where consumers could directly interact with the technology and understand its relevance to their everyday grooming routines. The dedicated experience zone allowed us to engage with a new audience in a way that was experiential, practical and closely aligned with the spirit of the H.O.G. community.”
The Western H.O.G. Ride 2026 also carried significance for the community as it marked its 13th edition, returning to Daman, where the first Western H.O.G. Ride was held in 2012. The programme included an 80-plus motorcycle ride to the Daman Lighthouse, followed by a series of entertainment and social experiences for the H.O.G. community.
The partnership reflects JRL Professional's larger approach of building brand relevance through experiential consumer engagement. By taking professional grooming into a high-energy, community-driven lifestyle environment, the brand created an opportunity to demonstrate its products in use while positioning grooming as an integral part of modern men's lifestyle and self-expression.
