New 50-room hotel strengthens the brand’s presence in a growing healthcare, education, business and leisure market
Vellore, 26 September 2026: Grand Continent Hotels Limited has announced the launch of Grand Continent Premier – Vellore, marking the brand’s 32nd property and further strengthening its presence across South India. Located at Green Circle on New Bypass Road, the new 50-room hotel has been designed to cater to business travellers, medical tourists, students and their families, leisure travellers and pilgrimage groups visiting Vellore.
Vellore has emerged as an important destination for healthcare, education and business travel, driven by institutions such as Christian Medical College (CMC) and Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), along with its proximity to Ranipet, an important industrial hub in the region. Grand Continent Premier – Vellore features 50 well-appointed rooms across Deluxe Twin, Deluxe King and Family Room categories. The hotel offers contemporary accommodation and facilities designed for both individual travellers and groups. Its dining offering includes Flavours, an 80-cover multi-cuisine restaurant, serving Indian and international cuisine, with Jain meal options also available. The property also features Unwind Bar, an 80-cover bar.
The hotel also caters to meetings, conferences and social gatherings through dedicated event spaces. Its Boardroom can accommodate 15–20 guests, while Blossom 1 & 2 can accommodate up to 200 guests in theatre-style seating and can be divided into separate halls. Blossom 3 can accommodate up to 60 guests in theatre-style seating, making the venue suitable for business meetings and social events.

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) and Christian Medical College (CMC) are approximately 4 km from the hotel, while Katpadi Railway Station is around 5 km away.
