Gargi by PNGS Expands Presence in Kolkata and Ghaziabad with Two New Kiosks

Pune, June : Gargi by PNGS, the fashion jewellery brand from the house of P N Gadgil & Sons, has strengthened its retail footprint in North and East India with the launch of two new kiosks in May 2026. The new stores, located in New Town (Kolkata) and Ghaziabad  mark a continued phase of expansion in the brand’s first quarter of FY27.

The new openings reflect Gargi’s focused strategy of deepening presence in high-potential jewellery markets across India. While the NCR region remains a key driver of organised jewellery demand, Kolkata continues to emerge as a strong market for design-led fashion jewellery.

Strengthening Presence in the East: Kolkata – New Town

Following the recent Salt Lake store launch, the New Town kiosk marks Gargi’s second outlet in Kolkata, signalling a strategic push towards building density in the city. Located at City Centre II in New Town’s Action Area-IID, the kiosk is positioned within one of the region’s most prominent lifestyle destinations, catering to a growing base of fashion-conscious consumers.

Expanding Footprint in North India: Ghaziabad

The Ghaziabad kiosk, situated at North India Mall in Indirapuram’s Vaibhav Khand, strengthens Gargi’s presence in the National Capital Region. The location serves a dense catchment of young families and working professionals, complementing the brand’s existing Delhi presence and reinforcing its NCR retail cluster strategy.

Leadership Commentary

Speaking on the expansion, Aditya Modak, Co-Founder, Gargi by PNGS, said:

“North and East India have always been central to how Indians think about jewellery, and these two kiosks are us meeting that culture where it lives. Ghaziabad lets us build real depth in the NCR, while our second Kolkata address tells us the East is responding to what we do  a region we are keen to keep building in.”

He further added:

“What keeps us confident is that this growth is entirely self-funded and built on a zero-debt balance sheet. With 20 new stores planned for FY27, we are not chasing numbers — we are building a brand, one neighbourhood and one customer at a time.”

Company Performance and Outlook

Gargi concluded FY26 with a revenue of ₹149.47 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of nearly 49%. During the year, the brand added 32 new stores, expanding its footprint to 126 points of sale across 65 cities and 21 states. The company continues to operate with a zero-debt balance sheet and has funded its expansion entirely through internal accruals.

For FY27, Gargi has outlined plans to open 20 additional stores and target a revenue CAGR of approximately 35%, with a continued focus on clustered expansion in high-potential markets.
