India, Nov 04: Accor, a world hospitality group, continues to expand its presence across India’s emerging leisure and events destinations with the signing of Novotel Bhilwara Resort & Spa in Rajasthan. Bringing the Novotel brand to Bhilwara, popularly known as the Textile City of India, the signing marks an important addition to the Group’s growing portfolio in the state. Scheduled to open in 2026, the 144-room resort will introduce Novotel’s Longevity Everyday philosophy to the Mewar region, combining contemporary hospitality, an exclusively vegetarian dining experience and extensive facilities for weddings, celebrations and business gatherings.

Spread across more than seven acres, Novotel Bhilwara Resort & Spa will offer a fully vegetarian dining experience, catering to guests who value vegetarian cuisine as an integral part of their travel and celebration choices. The resort will feature 144 rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, a bar and a lobby lounge, alongside wellness and recreational facilities including a spa, fitness centre and swimming pool. With more than 2,000 square metres of indoor ballroom, conference and event space, complemented by approximately 6,000 square metres of outdoor lawns, the resort will accommodate everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale destination weddings, social celebrations and meetings, incentive trips, conferences and exhibitions.
Located in the Mewar region, Bhilwara is one of Rajasthan’s leading textile and industrial centres, generating demand from business travellers and corporate visitors. Its road connectivity to Jaipur, Udaipur, Ajmer, Chittorgarh and Kishangarh also creates opportunities to attract leisure travellers, wedding groups and families seeking a resort experience beyond the state’s established tourist hubs. Against this backdrop, Novotel Bhilwara Resort & Spa aims to bring together the convenience of a well-connected location with the space, amenities and personalised experiences suited to both business and leisure occasions.
Ranju Alex, CEO, India & South Asia, Accor, said,
“Rajasthan continues to offer significant opportunities for hospitality development, with demand spanning business travel, weddings, social celebrations and leisure experiences. Bhilwara’s strong industrial and textile economy, combined with its connectivity to key cities across the region, makes it an attractive addition to our portfolio. With Novotel Bhilwara Resort & Spa, we are bringing the brand’s Longevity Everyday philosophy to a destination with diverse demand potential, while offering a distinctive pure-vegetarian resort experience and extensive facilities for celebrations and business gatherings.”
