The event was organized by Spielwarenmesse India Pvt. Ltd., organizer of the world’s leading toy trade show that takes place in Nuremberg, Germany. Key industry associations, including the Sports Goods Export Promotion Council (SGEPC) and The All India Toy Manufacturers’ Association (TAITMA), along with the support of the Ministry of Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), contributed to the event’s success.

Exhibitors at Kids India 2024 noted a significant increase in the presence of international retailers and buyers, with 126 international visitors attending the event. The growing number of global participants has further solidified India’s role as a major player in the toy industry.

“Kids India is one of the best platforms for exhibiting toys from reputable brands. It attracts top players from diverse markets and provides a unique opportunity for Indian manufacturers to connect with international buyers,” remarked Shyam Makhija, Director of Pegasus Toykraft Pvt. Ltd. Minali Argwali, co-founder of PepPlay, added, “Being part of Kids India has allowed us to tap into new international markets and present our products to a global audience. Ltd., shared, “Kids India is an unparalleled platform in India where industry professionals can connect, collaborate, and share knowledge.”

This year’s event also provided a platform for startups through the introduction of the Startup Pavilion, where five promising young companies showcased their innovations. The platform offered them an opportunity to network with established players, helping them access resources and new markets.

Christian Ulrich, Spokesperson of the Executive Board at Spielwarenmesse eG, reflected on the event’s ongoing success: “The repeated positive response and the wide range of products on display shows what immense potential there is in the Indian market. Kids India has affirmed once more its role as the most valuable international toy fair in South Asia and has opened the door to the largest toy network in the world for those who attended.”
